Why I'm Thankful...

I've been so busy this past month. So busy that it feels as if I don't stop 'doing' until my head hits the pillow, and even then my mind is still busy thinking of my never completed 'to do' list. Which brings me, quickly, to my point: I never got to put up my Thanksgiving post that I had three-fourths of the way done. Nope. Instead I fell asleep with my computer next to me in the bed, reading glasses still on my face, television on in the background, music playing in my ears - I guess I was just a little bit tired...

So, I had this whole big long piece written about all the things I am thankful for, with a big long story and a lot of places where I could've just inserted 'blah, blah, blah' and I don't think the majority of you would've even noticed. But I decided to start over and stared at a blank document, trying to think of a simple way to put things - and what I came up with makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too. And I hope that on a random weekday when you wanna just bitch and moan about how tired you are and how hard your day was at work, when you stand impatiently in the line at the grocers, when you scream at your kids for making a mess...I hope you stop and catch yourself and simply thank your lucky stars that you have a job to complain about, and money to go to the grocers with, and beautiful children to fuss about. So just kiss your spouse in the middle of an argument and hug your child in the middle of giving them grief, because in the end, aren't they all that really matters to you anyway? So why not make sure they know it. Enjoy my video.
