Pegasus

Love recently got me hooked on a game called Draw Something. Basically you get three words to pick from and then you draw the word you chose, your partner will then receive the picture and have to guess what it is you’ve drawn, the two of you want to go back and forth as long as you can without getting an answer wrong. Have I learned to draw better by playing this game, you ask? Negative. But I have learned that everyone I’ve played is a horrible artist – as am I. Seriously.

Last night the hubby picked the word Pegasus. I thought I knew what Pegasus was and told him to just draw a man/bird to keep it simple. He confidently informed me that Pegasus is a horse. Whoops. Turns out I was thinking of Icarus. Oh well, we can’t all be mythological scholars. Anyway, he carefully drew and as I watched over his shoulder I hyperventilated from laughing so hard. At the end of his drawing you would’ve thought he created a masterpiece because he slightly paused before sending it to his partner, as if to take in all the beauty of his work of fine art. Then he quietly, seriously, and simply said, “Pegasus.” And then this beauty was sent to his partner:

I hope our future child(ren) get their art skills from a distant cousin or something. Heaven help ‘em if they get it from their Daddy.
