Rock The Vote

Election day. My crew was well aware of what it was, when it was, and what it meant. I tried my best to educate them. So they were excited to go to school that day to vote. They were less ecstatic when they realized their votes didn't count toward the actual presidential election but hey...

Anyway, Ana rocked this cute little shirt in honor of the day:

And of course Owen had to pose with his equally cute, yet totally unrelated, shirt prior to catching the school bus that morning.

That night they even wanted to stay up to see who our next prez would be, I told them it would be far too late by the time the results came out but they insisted, and I obliged for a bit but when they got so delirious that they started using their nacho cheese as camouflage face paint I knew it was time to bed down the troops.

So that left me with a house full of sleeping children, so I tried to do the normal adult thing and watch the whole election thing but I got bored. So naturally I poured a glass of wine. Then I painted my nails. Then I got on Pinterest. Then I said screw it and got in the tub, where I was greeted by my nosy kitten Jersey.

Oh, and that same week Owen and I spent five or so hours in Urgent Care. We took a super classy photo after he filled his pee cup. And I'm super mature for calling it a pee cup. Hey, I don't know the technical term, aight?!

In other random news, I got a tattoo. It rained and my windows were down. And we got a new kitten.

In more common random news Owen spilled strawberry milk all over him self and more disturbingly the kitchen floor. Why oh why is it that when they make the kitchen floor sticky it takes daaaays to unsticky it no matter how much I clean it?

Xo,

Lor
