Toddler Gift Buying Guide

Am I the only one still Christmas shopping? I feel like I'm always rushing up until the big day every. Single. Year. And each year I tell myself I'm going to be more organzised with shopping NEXT year, but it never happens. Le sigh.

So if you're like me and still shopping this post is for you. Below are fun options for the toddler in your life. And if you've found neat things for toddlers comment below so I can check it out! I could always use more ideas.

1 / 2 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

Trains. Avery loves her trainset. It's not this exact one but its similar, hers was actually the big kids' that just got passed down to her and I can't remember where I got it because it was so long ago, like over 10 years ago. She loves them and for now is content with playing on the floor or any other hard surface she deems appropriate.

Puzzles. Puzzles are fun and educational. And these even have a rack they slide in when you're done so that you're not constantly searching for a missing puzzle or puzzle piece.

Avery has really starting loving to play dress up so these are a must in our house.

This paper roll is perfect to keep your little one crafting and spreads across most of whatever surface you place it on.

My kid loves hats and mittens/gloves and it's cold. Need I say more?

This coat goes well with everything and the baby looks adorable in it. To quote her big sister "she looks like a baby doll!"

Here's hoping your holiday is great, friends! Happy Monday!

Favourite Finds

Oh man, anyone else happy the weekend is nearly here??! I sure am.

So on with my Favourite Finds, yes? I don't think I've done one of these in a looooong time. But it's back. Try not to get too excited.

Moms of toddlers, how neat is this number puzzle? I came across it when looking for birthday gifts for Avery. I feel she's still a bit young for it so I went with a different one but maybe I'll get it for her if it's still on the market next year. The bright colours are no doubt eye candy and it's not everyday you find numbers instead of letters in puzzle form.

These plates are beyond adorable. Not only do I love the cute animal shapes they are available in but I love that they are wood. I'm very picky about which plastic plates/cups/utensils I use for the kids for my own semi-crunchy mom reasons so it's nice to find kid plates that are wood and cute. It's tougher to find than you'd think.

Girl Mamas! This shop sells theeeee most adorable headbands. I love how dainty the headband is and the bows are the cutest. I've never been a fan of the ginormous bows some moms plop on their kids' head, it looks comical to me. So when I found this shop I was in heaven. Just enough cuteness without making my baby look like Chaquita Banana. Not sorry.

This pizza recipe is amazing. Seriously. It was a big hit in our house. So much so that the big kids asked for it again just a few days later. Try it out; you won't be disappointed.

These dog collars are everything. I love how the pet and owner information is right on the collar rather than a separate tag. We have something similar for Sam but the collar is leather and the "tag" slides on the collar so it doesn't jingle. While I love ours, I thought these were fun because you can pick a colour to match your pups personality. Unfortunately they don't make a "hyped-up wildebeest" colour for Sam. Le sigh.

Last but certainly not least I have something for the Moms. This little invention is so clever. If you do yoga or Pilates or whatnot you will love these, trust me. It allows you to essentially be barefoot while still getting the benefit (good grip) of wearing shoes. Get them! Stat! Then try inverted yoga poses but keep emergency services on speed dial.

Alright, that wraps it up! Hope you day is an amazing one, folks. And may your weekend be filled with sleep, pancakes, cozy sweatpants, and the laughter of a baby girl that totally makes my heart melt. That was a bit specific. I'm projecting. Xx
