Celebrating Connor

Last month I spent the weekend in the Tampa area for my sister-in-law’s baby shower. She is expecting her first baby – a boy – in a few weeks. And this is me and the hubby’s first nephew so I didn’t wanna miss the festivities.

There was yummy food, a delicious snack spread, and cupcakes that went through one heck of a journey.

And lots of presents for my already spoiled nephew.

And of course a very happy preggo otherwise known as my sister.

Can’t wait to meet little Connor! He should be making his debut in T minus 36 days. 

Oh and lest we forget that this was the same weekend that halfway into my seven hour drive back home to Destin my car took a shit on me. So this was a very busy, very memorable weekend – time with the family, baby shower, nephew in utero, new car, stuck in random town. Ah, the life of a Rumbarger. Wanna join me on my next road trip? Update: I wrote this post up at the beginning of the week and scheduled it to automatically post today. Well guess what, Connor made his arrival five weeks early. He was born yesterday, 2 May and weighs a healthy 5lbs 11oz.
