Kiddie Talk

As I've mentioned before, I keep a journal of all the silly/clever/witty/insert adjective things the kids say. Seriously, I have two journals full. For this week's 'Kid Post' I thought I'd share a few with ya'll. So without further ado...

- Owen: Ethan, would you be mad if I asked you this question - Why you gotta be so mean to your little brothers and sisters?

- Owen hit his head and Ariana laughed. Owen replied, frustrated, "Would you like it if you died and I was laughing my butt off?"

- After mentioning our old neighbor Ally Owen asks, "Who is Ally?"
Ariana: The girl that talked really loud. 
Owen: Oh! Jordan?!

- After talking about weddings Ethan stated, "Every time they say kiss the bride they just mean kiss for like ten minutes straight."

- As she's doing a slow motion run she's making the noise "wooo-piiiing, wooo-piiiing..." After doing that for a good two minutes she said, "Okay...I'm getting tired of 'woooo-ping'."

- After seeing a photo of a cute baby animal Owen said, seriously, "I've gotta go get Ari, it's a real emergency of cuteness."

- After Owen made a witty comeback he cooly said, "Boom. Cut her like a knife." (while making a cutting motion with his hand.

- On moving day the Ari asked where all our belongings were going. I replied, "It's all going in the U-haul."
Ari: U-haul? Hmmm, I always thought it was UTAH!"

- When we got to our new town we were driving around to familiarize ourselves with the area when we saw a sign for the local YMCA. Ethan also spotted the sign and asked about it. After I explained to him what the Y was he said, still sounding confused, "Oh wow, I always thought the YMCA was just a song."

Those are my kids, and they say the darnedest,
