I need some Jesus up in here ya'll!
Avery took two naps totalling 20 minutes yesterday. Your prays are welcomed.
I also didn't get a shower until 830pm. Keep those prayers coming, folks.
When I was in said shower I realised all my body wash was gone; child number three uses a good 10 ounces of body was per shower. And that's a lot for one shower a day so imagine my problem with it when he showers four times a day. It happens. The multiple showers happen on a regular basis. If I ask him to take the trash to the bin outside he comes back in and showers. I'm not exaggerating. And when we take sam for a walk at night. Shower. The days Sam gets two walks? Two showers. I bought him bar soap hoping that would help the issue of using all the body wash but it doesn't help on the days he randomly uses my shower. Pray for my boy as well.
Immediately proceeding the shower, I was informed by Owen that Sam AKA The Hellian German Shephard ate the food off the stove.
Why is she on the stove? She doesn't do that.
Well, apparently she does now.
Mind you, I made dinner tonight and set the table for everyone and told them to eat without me. I was going to put Avery to bed because, you know, she slept for 20 minutes all day and I didn't wanna shove food in my face while bouncing a cranky kid on one knee, so my plan was to put her to bed then I'd eat after... alone. In peace and solidarity. And maybe with a bottle glass of wine. But then I got notice the dog ate the food, so vino for dinner it is, I thought.
Pray for the dog's safety...
So Avery nursed to sleep. Then I was informed of the dog's shenanigans. And then I finally made it to the shower where I had to use the husband's body wash, and finally I was able to toss on some comfys. I walk out of my bedroom to head downstairs to get "dinner" and guess what, the baby wakes up. Your prayers aren't working.
I climb in my bed with her (at least I'm clean, she's clean, and my sheets are clean - perhaps the only three productive things I accomplished all day) and I nurse her back to sleep. I slip out of bed eventually and make my way downstairs. I throw a load of diapers in the washer then head to the kitchen. Finally. Finally, I can find some sustenance and call it a night. Egg rolls and wine it is.
Don't judge. Just pray.
